The six volumes (bound in three volumes) comprise a total of 302 intaglio (taille-douce) engravings (burin), accompanied by the respective explaining texts in interspersed leaves. Copy lacking the engravings XLIX to LIV on volume V (6 engravings), very clean (only engraving I of volume IV, shows a watertide stain), bindings of the time with canvas spines and leather labels.
