ANTÓNIO VASCONCELOS - SÉC. XVII The Jesuit Priest António de Vasconcelos (1554-1622), born in Lisbon, was prefect and Rector of the University of Évora. The work consists of a summary of the Chronicles of Portugal until Philip II and a description of the Kingdom in the last 215 pages. Copy with slight acidity and some small bookworm cuts which occasionally affect the text. French heraldic circular red stamp, very worn, on the cover page.
