Luís King of Portugal, spiral silver, monogramed and crowned "L", spiral glass bottles, comprising a rectangular box and three bottles, Paris percentage mark, Paul Sormani makers mark (1817-1877), 19th C., small restorations and chip, signed PAUL SORMANI - PARIS Note: Paul Sormani, was born in Venice in 1817. Dedicated to the "Lux" furniture making copying several models of the Louis XV and XVI period, whose gilt bronze applications were highly chiseled. He exhibited in several Universal Exhibitions, winning numerous medals. In 1867his workshop was at 10 rue Charlot in Paris, moving to No. 134 BoulevardHaussmann when his son Sormoni Paul-Charles took over the business.
