Edição inteiramente gravada a talhe-doce, contendo a representação cartográfica (e iconográfica) do teatro de guerra das três Invasões Francesas,
com indicações precisas do movimento e disposição dos exércitos britânicos e napoleónicos. Os três volumes de atlas, com rostos próprios,
apresentam a seguinte estrutura interna:

The present description matches exactly the List of maps and plans included in the first volume. All maps and engravings are mounted on canvas and bands;
due to the large dimensions of the work and its enormous weight, volumes are a bit disjointed (especially the first). Some handling signs, rare imperfect margins
and occasional minor stains. The set also includes the text volume of the Memoir lacking in the only known copy in Portugal (BN, C.A. 61 R.) that, moreover,
only includes 37 maps and is excessively trimmed (71 cm). Contemporary morocco half-bindings, worn but recoverable (the volume of Memoir
with loose upper cover); the three volumes of atlas present, at the center of the upper cover, a leather ticket, with the indication in gilt of the maps
and plates contained in each volume.
